Ride from Nevada's State Line to California's Monterey Bay in six days! Highlights include crossing five mountain passes and covering over 300 miles in one week. A mid-week Century (100 mile) ride drops 7000' in elevation and passes part-way through the great San Joaquin Valley. Camp SAG vehicle provides full riding support and carries all gear. Trip starts and ends in Modesto with “SAG” transportation to and from the tour's beginning and ending points.
This intermediate level bike tour is designed for guys entering 10th grade and higher looking for a physical challenge or cross-training for fall sports, while experiencing a cross section of California's varying landscapes. Road bikes having 15 gears or more are required.
Conditioning rides are necessary and will be made available prior to camp to prepare you for this challenge.
