Who We Are
Sequoia Brigade Camp is the camping arm of Christian Service Brigade for California. Our emphasis for the past 50 years has been Discipleship, Evangelism and Christian Maturity. Every Summer we provide low cost and high quality residential and trip camps for boys and girls as well as Father/Son and Father/Daughter camps where Dads can spend quality time with their children.
We believe that the camp experience is a tool that God has used for years to bring individuals and families closer to him as they draw near to his creation and take a break from their everyday lives that are so often full of distractions.
Our Goal at the end of each camp is that each camper will go home having:
- Heard the good news of The Gospel
- Grown in their Christian walk
- Memorized and hidden God's word in their heart
- Learned new outdoor skills
- Had a total blast and created memories that will last a lifetime
- Been changed forever by God's word

“As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ” Ephesians 4:14-15
God says:
-> Grow up
-> Love truth
-> Lies kill |
The world says:
-> Stay young at all costs
-> No truth
-> Tell me what I want to hear |
The world and God’s word are at odds. They both present an argument for what’s beautiful, good and satisfying but who’s telling the truth? This summer we will be standing on the solid foundation of God’s word as we strip away the flimsy covering under which the world tries to hide its lies.
