Father/Son, Father/Daughter Camp has been our response to the overwhelming desire of men to have quality time with their daughters and sons. And now we're offering it in SoCal!
Our host, Camp Osito Rancho is nestled at 7400' on a beautiful forest ridge, just outside of Big Bear Lake in the San Bernardino Mountains. Amid the pine, cedar, and fir trees is a great place to deepen the relationship between fathers and their kids. Get away from the hassle of daily life and get to know God and each other better. This is the quality time you need for playing, relaxing, singing songs of praise, and talking over your faith in the Lord. Camp includes a daily "dads time" while the kids enjoy games with our Junior Counselors. You'll also have lots of free time to spend together doing things you both enjoy, like swimming, archery, canoeing at the pond, air-riflery, crafts, and a ropes course! Evening campfire programs will be shared with our Adventure Camps happening at the same time. Outstanding meals and facilities put the icing on top of this great escape. |
Welcome Letter
Welcome to the 2025 Father/Son, Father/Daughter Camp! This year marks the 64th Anniversary of Sequoia Brigade Camp. We are excited about the fun and growth that you will experience with us. You should arrive at camp between 3:30 and 4:30 PM Sunday afternoon. Please do not arrive earlier than 3:00 PM. Dismissal will be after breakfast on Thursday morning. This camp is specifically designed to build up father and child relationships, so most of your time will be spent doing activities together. There will also be some times during camp when the kids will be with our Junior Counselors (Spiritually mature High Schoolers) for an activity, while the dads meet together. The Junior Counselors will be in charge of our activity areas (archery, BB guns, canoeing, handcrafts, etc) please respect their leadership. Dads, you are encouraged to not do any business while at camp! You may bring multiple children to camp including both sons and daughters. If your schedule is restrictive, you may register for either 2 nights, 3 nights, or all 4 nights. Just select the days you can come when you register, and the cost will adjust accordingly. Substitute dads, grandfathers, legal guardians, etc. are welcome, if dad is not available. If you or your child have any special needs/requests please let us know ahead of time and we will do our best to accommodate. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out. |
